BPBW 2026 - Everything you need to know

Budding trees, the scent of hops, and a (not-so) “unexpected journey”—BPBW is about to begin

Spring has finally arrived, the trees are all green, and Kopaszi Dam is in full bloom: it’s time to drink under the open sky! Grab your walking stick and saddle up your ponies, because it’s time for the annual beer festival—Budapest Beer Week is here. Just like Bilbo Baggins at the beginning of The Hobbit, master brewers from top breweries around the world and the most enthusiastic beer fans are now setting out on the greatest adventure: to arrive in Budapest and drain the taps. Put on your most comfortable walking shoes—we don’t recommend going barefoot—and join us, because on the streets of Budapest, we’re not looking for rings, but for the most exciting brews!

So, BPBW 2026. Are you ready?

Beerselection is hosting two sessions this year: specifically, the Funky Fluid and the Ārpus Tap Takeovers. Both events start at 1:00 PM, and throughout the week we’ll have extended opening hours, plus other surprises on the days between the TTOs! Do NOT stay at home! :D

We’re also preparing some exciting shipments: not only are Ārpus and Funky Fluid arriving, but also Sibeeria and a massive North-American drop, plus a new brewery, Obora from Czechia, will be making its debut!

If you’ve partied hard with the crowds or already drank everything on Friday and Saturday, come sit with us for some beer and chill to wind down, and pick from our canned and bottled selections so you have something to take home.
